London is one of the places that I really want to visit. In fact, I made several articles about the places that I want to visit in London. I admit that every once in a while, I'm still dreaming of it and reading of other things that I can do in London.
Although England is obviously expensive, London is filled with both modern-day and historical attractions. Aside from London's top sights, I searched for other things to do in London. Things that are unique and will provide cool experiences. After reading about it, here are some unique things that I want to do in London:
Kayak-ing the Thames
One of the coolest things to do in London is to experience kayak within the city and the surrounding areas. It's a great opportunity to experience a unique view of London from the Thames River. There are lots of canoe clubs in and around London that offer great opportunities for people like me who want to experience it.
Watch Theatre Shows
London is also well known for the arts. You can find so many art galleries and street performers in town. It boasts some of the greatest theaters and concert venues in the world. London theatre shows offer different genres, whether you want comedy, drama or tragedy. From the most-well known musicals to underground performances, there is always a London theatre to see a show of your choice. Some of the famous theatres are London Coliseum, Globe Theatre and The Palladium to name a few.
Being young at heart, I really want to visit and explore Hamleys. This legendary store has seven floors brimming with the latest computer games, crazes, traditional teddies and specialist collector areas. Hamleys claims to be the oldest toy shop in London, established in Holborn in 1760 as Noah's Ark and the biggest toy shop in the world. People from all over the world visit this gigantic toy shop to buy the most wonderful toys and games. Others also come here to experience the magical atmosphere. All the staff are dress up in costumes while demonstrating toys to entertain the customers.
Watch the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London
Tower of London
There are several venues in London that you can visit and enjoy most at night, one of these is the Tower of London.??The historic Ceremony of the Keys takes place daily at the Tower of London at 9.53pm.??It’s free and open to the public but you must apply by letter two months in advance.??The importance of securing this fortress for the night is still very important because, although the Royal family no longer resides at this royal palace, the Crown Jewels and many other valuables still do.
These are just few of the many things to do in London??that I want to do.
What about you? What are the things you want to do in London?
