Photo of the Week – Chipmunk in Mahabodhi Temple

June 6, 2012 by Bino 1 Comment

Chipmunk

This shot was taken in Bodhgaya in Bihar, India. While roaming around Mahabodhi temple, I spotted this chipmunk in one corner of the complex. Chipmunks are the smallest members of the squirrel family. They generally gather food on the ground??which they stuff into their cheek pouches and carry to their nest to store.
