Usually after dinner, I often stand in front of the beach to relax and observe the beauty of the sea. I also usually noticed separate groups of people who are carrying lights, buckets and knife walking in its own direction.. It seems that they’re looking for something in the sea.
I approached and talked to them, I’ve known that they are looking for fishes and shellfishes using only their hands. I was amazed on what I heard and out of curiosity I decided to go with them. According to the night hunters, Fishes are moving very slow at night?? because they can’t see anything around them that made easier for them to capture.
They often do this during low tide. When you see the target, slowly clasp it so it can’t move and you can get it with your hand.
According to them they usually bake it or add some coconut milk to eat… I envy those people living near the ocean. They?? just get out and get these expensive fishes/shellfish for free while in the metro we buy it at cost. I do hope that they continue to take care of the sea?? that support their life and will support the next generation.
