This shot was taken when we went to Nubra Valley, a tri-armed valley located in the north east of Ladakh in the state of Jammu and Kashmir of India. The name of the valley is derived from the Nubra River that flows through this splendid valley.
While we were in Leh, we decided to visit Nubra Valley which is 4-5 hours travel by road passing through a rough road runs north over the awesome Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in the world. The beautiful valley of Nubra is a wonderful spot for sight seeing in the land of Ladakh.
If you are planning to visit Leh and would like to have a pleasant stay, there are numerous Leh hotels, cottages, restaurants, service apartments, resorts and guest house available ranging from budget to Luxurious.
