Popularly known as Banaras, Benares and Kashi among locals, It is considered as the most sacred and holliest place for all Hindus in India.  For them, they believed that bathing in the Ganges River or dying in the holy city of Varanasi will bypass or help them avoid the reincarnation and hence provides them a permanent place in Heaven.
