I can’t believe that I just hit my one year mark in travel blogging and I’ve also been on the road for nine months now. My first few entries never fails to make me smile because of the grammatical errors that I’ve decided not to edit to remind me of how much I’ve improved. My first few posts reminds me of my first day in travel blogging and how clueless I was with what I was doing. It’s nice to see all the changes that this blog and I have been through.
Now, as surreal as it sounds I’m writing my 92nd post and my final post for 2011, which I purposely left to write and finish on the very last day of this year.
Everytime you hit a milestone no matter where or what it is, it usually is a good idea to look back at the road that took you there, and eventually reflect on what you have learned along the way. As the year comes to a close I’ve been thinking of a way to summarize my 2011. I’m generally not a resolution-maker so this year was no exception. The weird thing is, no matter how I look at it, 2011 was a year that I am incredibly grateful for. As we approach the end of another wonderful year, I’d like to take a look back and celebrate successes, failures, family, friends and everything that life holds.
