Last September, I arrived into the hustle and bustle of Pham Ngu Lao street in Saigon (now officially known as Ho Chi Minh city) at around 4am.
The streets were already packed of people walking by and the park across where I am seating was full with people doing their morning stretch. While seating on a side walk, I found a pavement cafe where I get a drink (This is the first time I tried my favorite milk tea in other country). Even though I’m tired, I decided to pass on a sleep and set-off exploring the street and take some pics to document the street life of Saigon in early morning.
The corner Pham Ngu Lao street and De Tham is referred to as backpacker haven of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), Vietnam. This area has lots of cheap food, hotels and some good shopping, one of the best reasons to check out the Saigon backpackers area..
You might have a hard time to look for the best tour packages due to numerous number of tourist agencies which primarily cater to budget tourists.
