While in a boat trip from Masbate going to Roxas, Capiz, this family who was sleeping together caught my attention. I am worried if that child can endure the 8 to 10 hours of travel on a sea with a small space to move around. Then I suddenly realized that maybe it don’t matter to him as long as he feels the presence of his parents beside him. I was also impressed on how the Father positioned himself just to give his family a little comfort along the trip. As I remember, the piece of wood that serves as a bench for the passengers is just 6 inches in width… This is just a proof that the family unit is designed to be a support system. Family members ought to be there for each other in the good times and the bad times, supporting one another.
