Boracay Island: A glimpse of paradise

Sunset in Boracay

It was my first time to go to Boracay and it never failed to impress me… People will soon be coming here sooner than expected. I hope the beach stays as it is… Boracay is a wonderful place to be with and I can’t wait to visit it again.

About the Place: Boracay, Aklan , Philippines

Boracay is just one among the hottest travel destinations in the Philippines attracting thousands of foreign travelers every season. It is located in Panay Island in Visayas , Philippines . The island is marked by a lot of beaches but the most famous destination in Boracay is the white beach.

White beach isn’t only a beautiful stretch of 4 kilometers white sand, it is also a commercial center where all your needs are met. Aside from the tourism-inspired businesses, people can find a trendy mall within the area, where they can buy novelty items, enjoy good food, and experience other activities. However, other beaches like Balinghai Beach and Puka Beach also have their fair share of visitors each year.

With its sugary white sand, clear waters, and beautifully clean surroundings, the place never fails to mesmerize thousands and even millions of people worldwide.

The beach is broken up into three “boat stations” which comes from years ago when the boats would drop off tourists directly on the beach. Station One is the northern stretch of beach and is closest to many of Boracay’s luxurious resorts. This part of the beach has the finest sand and is also where the famous Willy’s Rock is located. Station Two (near the centre of White Beach ) is where the action is – most of the island’s best food outfits and bars are in this area. Here you can also find D’Mall, the island’s shopping center. The southern stretch of White Beach is Station Three – this is where you’ll find most of the island’s budget accommodation. This end of the beach is more relaxed and peaceful vibe with more cosy resorts and restaurants.
